Summary

This year's Marple Carnival theme was ‘Superheroes’, the carnival is renowned for its street parade, not only in the quality and number of floats, but also the generosity of the public in filling the participants' collecting tins. The carnival took place on Saturday, June 20 with a number of attractions including entertainment and fairground rides in Memorial Park, a car boot sale, market stalls and the grand parade.
