Rob raises money for “We love MCR Charity” fund

Rob Wilson has put his talents to good use by raising over £1,500 for the ‘We love MCR charity’. This charity supports the people of Manchester and formed the emergency fund set up to help those recently injured in the Arena bombing.

New attraction at Lymefield

There’s a new attraction at Lymefield in Broadbottom, where textile artist Maxine Pigram recently opened an arts and crafts gallery. She has refurbished the interior of the Outdoor Learning Centre to bring together the talents of the many creative people she has found in the area,displaying their work alongside her own embroidered pictures. Maxine grew up in the village and her family still live there, so she is delighted with the gallery’s location. “I love the countryside round here, and this woodland setting is the perfect place to display arts and crafts, as so much of the work is inspired by nature.”
