Katie Toft’s paracycling career goes from strength to strength. The 23-year-old athlete from Chinley has won double gold in two national championships: the British National Paracycling Time Trial Championship at Sutton Bonington, followed by the British National Road Circuit Championship at Darley Moor near Ashbourne. Recently she added a bronze award in a national time-trial event in Worcestershire (CTT Series round 3) and is getting ready for the Paracycling World Cup meeting in Ostend. Katie competes in the C3 category, where C3 indicates the type and level of disability; in her case cerebral palsy.
